Tyres
In view of the abnormal stresses and strains to
which tyres are or may be subjected, local tyre manufacturers
stipulate that they make no representation whatsoever and give no
guarantee against latent or patent defects, or in any other manner
whatsoever in respect of products manufactured, sold or supplied by
them and all conditions and warranties whatsoever, whether
statutory, implied or otherwise are expressely excluded. It is an
express condition subject to which persons are licenced to use and
vend the patented or branded goods of such manufacturers that a
manufacturer will be under no liability, whether in contract or in
delict for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property, by
or arising out of the use of such goods. A manufacturer is prepared
to give the most sympathetic consideration to any complaint as to
either manufacture or workmanship and if, in its sole discretion, it
comes to the conclusion that such complaint is justified, it will be
prepared to deal with the same.
It is for these reasons that GM South Africa must exclude tyres from its warranty.
Security System/Air Conditioner
This warranty also
expressely excludes the fitment of any security system, be it alarm
or immobiliser, other than the factory approved system. The fitment
of any other security system installed as an after market fitment
will cancel the warranty on the engine and allied componentry.
The fitment of any air-conditioning unit other than the
factory approved system will also render the warranty null and void.

Africa Warranty as they are warranted by the battery supplier.
